Discover Gastronomic Bliss at Lazy Days

Nestled along the picturesque 79867 Overseas Hwy in Islamorada, FL, Lazy Days is a culinary gem that embodies the true essence of the Florida Keys. This casual dining destination offers an enticing array of fresh seafood, ensuring that every bite transports you to a sun-soaked paradise.

As you step into Lazy Days, you'll be captivated not just by the delicious menu but also by the stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, perfect for enjoying a relaxing meal as seagulls swoop by and the gentle sound of waves sets the backdrop. The sandy table area right by the water's edge provides not only a comfortable seating option but also a delightful atmosphere where you can soak up the natural beauty and calm of your surroundings.

Lazy Days serves an array of dishes that celebrate the ocean's bounty. Sample their renowned Grouper Port Au Prince—coconut-fried and topped with Swiss cheese and mango chutney, it's a flavor explosion that speaks to the heart of Key West cuisine. If you're in the mood for a classic, try the Lazy Days Burger, a generous ½ pound of Certified Angus beef that is cooked to perfection and bursting with rich flavor. Of course, no visit would be complete without indulging in their acclaimed Key Lime Pie, a refreshing finale to your meal that captures the essence of Florida's tropical heritage.

The team's commitment to freshness and quality shines through, and customer feedback reflects this dedication. After enjoying a meal at Lazy Days, many find themselves eager to return. One impressed diner, 'Chi-Chi', praises the grouper cheeks and the variety of delectable fish sandwiches available, all emphasizing the restaurant’s welcoming and clean environment. Even when the sun begins to set, the flavors remain equally vibrant. Diner 'Shirléy Lima' recounts a culinary feast of perfectly seasoned peel-and-eat shrimp, crab legs, and oysters, remarking that even a slow night service was easily overshadowed by the fresh, delicious food. Not to mention the warm banana bread, a beloved touch that makes any meal feel like a special occasion.

Perfect stop for on your way down to Key West or on your way back. Grouper cheeks were awesome and the conch with lazy days sauce simply delicious! We all had different fish sandwiches and all were excellent! I love the sandy table area right along the water's edge. Plenty of shade with the overhang and umbrellas. Good friendly service. Clean restrooms

Great food and service. Can’t beat the view! Get your fish cooked Lazy Days style! They will cook your fresh catch, too. It was so good we ate there twice while we were here for a week.

We stopped by Lazy Days close to the end of the night. While the service was a bit slow—maybe because it was near closing time—the food definitely made up for it. Everything we ordered was delicious! The fish was fresh, the peel-and-eat shrimp were perfectly seasoned, and the crab legs, oysters, and alligator were all full of flavor. The highlight was the warm, fresh banana bread, such a nice touch! Would love to come back earlier in the day to experience the full service.

Went on vacation with my husband and we were recommended this place. We loved it so much we came back again before we left. We tried the dinner broiled seafood option, oysters, potato skins and conch chowder. Everything was excellent!

4 stars across the board. The food was excellent, the service was great, and the atmosphere was phenomenal. We went there for dinner and there was no wait. We were seated facing the Atlantic Ocean, which is always breathtaking. I ordered the Lobster Palermo - fire on every level. I come to the keys 3 to 4 times a year, and this was my first visit here. I will be coming back to try the other offerings on the menu.

We brought our own snapper caught that day and the preparations were amazing! We had blackened, Parmesan crusted and coconut - wow! So amazing. Definitely the place to bring your own fish.
